Nature-based sensory play for babies, toddlers, and young children (1–5 years)

We are so excited to introduce our Saturday morning Messy Play Sessions at V.I.M Camps.

These gentle, fun and engaging sessions are designed for children aged 1–5 years and their parents or carers to explore, play and connect in a relaxed outdoor environment.

Each session offers a safe and welcoming space where little ones can explore nature-inspired messy play, develop confidence, and enjoy sensory experiences at their own pace.

Session Details

Time: Saturdays, 10.00 – 11.00am

Location: Castlewood Primary School, Southwater RH13 9US

Price: From £8.50 per child (accompanying adult is free)

Block: Bookable individually or save by booking all remaining sessions in the block.

These sessions are as much for parents and carers as they are for the children offering a lovely opportunity to meet other families, build friendships and enjoy a peaceful start to the weekend.

Sessions take place at Castlewood Primary School, Southwater, just a short drive from Horsham.

We will meet at 10am at the pedestrian gate at the main entrance to the school. Please try to arrive promptly but if you are unavoidably delayed, the club phone number will be displayed and you can call to alert the team that you have arrived. 

There is no maximum, as we accommodate a range of ages which require different levels of supervision. We just remind accompanying adults that they are responsible for the children in their care and our staff are there to facilitate the activities for the group. Please ensure that you are able to adequately support the children you bring.

No, you’re welcome to book a single session to try us out before you commit. We’re confident that you’ll want to come back though and when you’re ready to book the rest of the block, you’ll benefit from a reduced rate per child, per session. Bookings made after the block is started will be charged for the remaining sessions pro rata.

No, rain won’t stop play. We have a sheltered area which is suitable for light rain. If the weather makes enjoying the session outdoors impossible, we have an indoor space and can take the activities inside.

Yes, as with all of our holiday and wraparound sessions for older children a 10% sibling discount applies.

We don’t offer a refund or credit for missed sessions as spaces are limited. You are welcome to offer the space to a friend if you are unable to attend, simply email info@vimcamps.com to arrange.

You are very welcome to bring younger siblings along and if they are under the age of 1 and not participating there is no charge.

Messy Play Locations

Our Messy Play Sessions take place at Castlewood Primary School in Southwater, West Sussex, not far from Horsham and nearby villages like Broadbridge Heath, Pulborough, and Billingshurst.
