HAF at V.I.M Camps

The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme in the UK is an initiative aimed at providing free holiday activities, including nutritious meals, to children who are eligible for benefit related free school meals during term time.

At V.I.M Camps, HAF funding simply means your child enjoys the full holiday-club experience at no cost to you. Every child takes part in the same great activities, with the same friendly team and the same fun-filled days. HAF places are free, but the experience is exactly the same as a paid booking.
Whether your little one wants to build dens, get messy with seasonal arts & crafts, play team games, or get creative with some junk modelling, everything on our schedule is open to them.

We offer something for everyone

We know every child is different and that’s why our clubs are packed with a mix of fun and variety, designed for all primary-school ages and interests. Kids can:
  • Build hideouts and dens, perfect for imagination and teamwork.

  • Run, jump, and play in outdoor activities and team games.

  • Dive into seasonal arts & crafts and express their creative side.

  • Hunt for hidden treasures on nature scavenger hunts.

  • Enjoy simple baking sessions.

  • Unwind with downtime in our quiet corner, or get stuck into imaginative play with new friends.

Safe, Enriching & Inclusive

As part of the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, our funded places at V.I.M Camps give eligible children access to:
  • A healthy free lunch each day from the Free From Food Company who deliver hot, plant based meals, free from the 14 main allergens.
  • The same varied, high-quality activities and supportive staff as our paid sessions.
  • A warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every child can feel safe, engaged, and free to enjoy themselves.
HAF is simply another way to access the full V.I.M Camps holiday club with everything on offer.

It’s a full holiday club schedule just like any paid booking. With this broad mix of activities, siblings of different ages or with different interests can happily attend the same club and have their own kind of fun. That means families find it easy to book together, even if one child loves outdoor adventures and the other prefers arts or imaginative play.
