Castlewood Primary School

Our Castlewood Holiday Club gives children the freedom to enjoy their holidays their way. With fantastic indoor and outdoor spaces, children can choose from sports and games, arts and crafts, den building, nature activities, mini beast hunts, growing vegetables and lots more.

There is plenty of time to get outside and active, be creative, make friends or simply relax. Our friendly team creates a fun, inclusive environment where children are encouraged to explore their interests and feel completely at home.

Children arrive from 7.30am and are greeted with a healthy breakfast, with options such as fruit, toast, pancakes and cereal. After eating, they can choose to relax, chat with friends, or get involved in a range of activities.

We also support healthy morning routines, so please send your child with a labelled toothbrush in a small freezer bag that can stay with us. When your child attends Breakfast Club, we’ll gently encourage them to brush their teeth after breakfast.

At 8.30am, the children head to their classrooms ready for a positive start to the day.

After School Club is a chance for children to relax and unwind after their school day. We encourage plenty of child-led play, with opportunities to get outside whenever the weather permits and a wide range of activities for children to choose from.

Children are provided with a snack. Please note that this is an after school snack sufficient to keep them going until their evening meal. If you prefer to send in a particular or additional snack, please let us know so we can make sure it is eaten.
